History
Since our inception in 1987 Industrial Blower Services have grown from humble beginnings and surroundings to become the UK’s largest repair and service centre for roots type blowers. Along the way we have worked closely with all of the blower manufacturers to build up a bank of knowledge and experience that is second to none, not least that of Managing Director Graham Matthews.

The year of 1999 saw the arrival of Gary Killick. Gary bought with him a wealth of experience in the sliding vane vacuum pump industry, gained from his 10 year work experience at Hammond Engineering. This enabled IBS to expand into the sliding vane market and as a result we are now the sole European distributor for Blackmer (who acquired Hammond Engineering in the late 1990’s) and are able to repair and service all known models.

In 2004 IBS acquired the expertise of experienced process engineers Brian Russell and Stephen Beales (both previously of SGMI) who are based in our Suffolk branch. As a result IBS are able to handle all of your conveying needs including pipework, silos, hoppers, rotary valves, blowers, screw, liquid ring and sliding vane compressors. In 2008 IBS acquired PAG Sheetmetal in Hanwell, London providing the group with additional manufacturing facilities to complement its other activities.

Past and future
We believe that our growth in structure and reputation are the result of our uncompromising approach to customer service and efficiency irrespective of the projects nature and size.

We constantly monitor advances in industrial blower technology and tailor our service to provide support for the newest and oldest machines thus affording industry valuable maintenance cost cutting opportunities.
